- Actuarial Reporting & Modelling Analyst
Role Purpose
Support actuarial reporting and modelling activities by producing, validating, and analysing model outputs for financial, regulatory, and management reporting. The role contributes to IFRS, Economic Capital, Asset Share, and New Business reporting, ensuring accuracy, insight, and robust controls.
Key Responsibilities
Support the production of actuarial data, model bases, results, and balance sheets for:
IFRS reporting
Economic Capital
Asset Share
New Business reporting
Perform actuarial model results analysis, including:
Validation and reasonableness checks
Analysis of change
Economic and non-economic stress testing
Sensitivity analysis
Critical scenario testing
Back-testing
Support New Business reporting and analysis, including:
Value of New Business (VNB)
Annual Premium Equivalent (APE)
New Business Strain (NBS)
Profit driver and movement analysis
Produce and analyse asset model results, including:
Stress and scenario analysis
Asset-Liability Management (ALM) analysis
Equity Release valuation
Support regression testing activities, including:
Change requests
Testing and validation
Impact analysis and documentation
Assist with simple projects, model developments, and enhancements as required.
Skills & Knowledge
Reasonable working knowledge of actuarial modelling systems such as Prophet, DCS, or similar platforms
Understanding of life insurance actuarial concepts, valuation methodologies, and financial reporting frameworks
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to interpret and explain model results clearly
Effective communication and documentation skills
Qualifications
Any graduation with minimum 3 CT papers
