Job RequirementsAs a Memory Interface Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing layout designs for memory interfaces and related components. You will work closely with design engineers to optimize layout designs for performance and manufacturability.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and modify layout designs for memory interfaces and related components.
Collaborate with design engineers to optimize layout designs for performance and manufacturability.
Conduct layout verification and ensure compliance with design rules and specifications.
Implement quality full-custom layouts of high-performance arrays and memory blocks from supplied schematics.
Perform physical design verification (DRC/LVS/DFM) using verification tools.
Conduct electro-migration and IR checks for reliability and integrity.Required Skills and Experience:
1-2 years of relevant layout design experience.
Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso layout systems.
Ability to understand, plan, and organize work using complex schematics of hierarchically structured circuits.
Understanding of layout techniques for optimization of power, speed, and area.
Experience with physical design verification tools and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Preferred Skills:
Understanding of layout techniques for design-for-manufacture in advanced processes (e.g., 7nm/5nm/3nm/2nm).
Programming experience in Tcl, Perl, shell, Skill, Scheme.
Ability to identify design tradeoffs with circuit design leads.Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication, Physics, or related fields.Work Experience1-2 years of relevant layout design experience.
