RESPONSIBILITIES Establishing an environment where the team can be effective as per the Scrum Framework Formulating techniques for effective Product Backlog Management Ensuring that goals, scope and product domain etc. are understood by every member in the Scrum Team properly Ensuring that the Product Owner has clarity on arranging the product backlog to yield maximized value, Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items Should be able to remove project impediments that stand in the way of team productivity and performance. Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed Empowering and guiding the development team on self-management. Should be able to ensure that the Scrum process and the effectiveness of the scrum team is well maintained Ensure that the Scrum roles, rules, values and rituals are followed, and optimum benefit of Scrum is obtained Should clearly exhibit the skill in working in tandem with the development team, Product Owner as well as the entire organization through the implementation of the Scrum framework. Manage financial reporting wrt. Deliverables in relevant tools like JIRA, Clarity, etc Manage reporting via Scrum / Kanban boards Support RF reporting needs and work with Product Owners to drive accurate reporting Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent) Other Responsibilities Embed Here for good and Group&rsquos brand and values in [country / business unit / team] Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures Multiple functions (double hats) [List all responsibilities associated with the role] Our Ideal Candidate The role holder needs to possess change and program management experience, ideally gained in a software / infrastructure development environment using Agile ways of Working Scrum Master Certification is desired. Bachelor&rsquos degree/Master&rsquos degree preferably in Information Technology or any other relevant stream of education with equivalent work experience People and process management skills, ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at appropriate level ensuring open collaborative environment. Ability to deliver outcomes efficiently despite complexity and ambiguity. Demonstrated relationship building skills - both internal and external across multiple jurisdictions. High level of integrity and professionalism. Strong planning and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail.
