Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Zinc Plating

Location: Ludhiana

Salary: CTC ?60,000 - ₹70,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager to lead our Zinc Plating department at a fasteners company in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in zinc plating, specifically within the fasteners industry, and hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. This leadership role is vital for ensuring the quality, efficiency, and safety of all plating operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the zinc plating process, from pre-treatment to post-plating finishing.

Manage the daily operations of the plating plant, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.

Supervise and train a team of plating operators and technicians.

Monitor plating tank chemistry, troubleshoot process issues, and maintain optimal plating parameters.

Ensure all plating operations comply with industry standards and environmental regulations.

Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program for all plating equipment.

Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plating quality and efficiency.

Prepare and present reports on departmental performance to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in zinc plating, with a strong background in the fasteners industry.

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of zinc plating processes, chemical analysis, and plating equipment.

Soft Skills: Proven leadership and team management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
