We are looking for AM/DM - Tool & Design for Solan (HP)Candidates should be from the stamping industry.Role and Responsibility: 1. Hands-on, complete handling of all activities for manufacturing of tools (Progressive as well as Prototype).2. Managing a Tool Room, allocating jobs, machine scheduling, managing people, process planning and scheduling3. Understanding and working knowledge of CNC/Non-CNC tool manufacturing machines.4. Tool designing/drafting layouts and developing tooling for new products.5. Managing manufacture of moulds and components thereof in-house and through outsourcing.6. Ensuring tool validation is conducted on every production tool before handover to production.7. In-depth knowledge of appropriate material selection for all tooling components.8. Ensuring meeting of timelines committed to customers9. Working on prototypes for NPDs, R&D projects.10. Skill to analyse RFQ's from customers to and workout tooling estimates and costing thereof.11. Getting detailed specifications from customers and ensuring production as per specifications given by customers.12. Coordinating and maintaining tooling related internal as well as external vendors.13. To ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of running tools as per schedule.14. Optimization of all the available resources & capacity utilization.15. Coordination with quality & production at all times.16. Maintaining all the records relating to each tools as specified in SOPs17. Maintaining ISO standards and ensuring implementation and SOP for each tool and related machinery.18. Customer Audits and compliances for tooling.19. Implement robust QA/QMS practices and controls as per international standards. Statutory Audits as per standards.Key Skills :1. Operational extensive knowledge of Auto-Cad, Creo, and Solid works & latest designing software.2. Effective communication skills3. Team Management4. Effective knowledge to ISO standards, 9001, IATF, 14000 & 450005. Knowledge of engineering designs and CNC programmingExperience : 10-15 years in tool & design preferably with metal industryQualifications : BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engg.
