Maintenance(AMC) Engineer - PLC/ SCADA

An AMC(Maintenance) Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing key aspects of the role, including strategic planning, team coordination, and ensuring the achievement of objectives..

Duties include analyzing workflows, optimizing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the role involves reporting on performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Good understanding of Automation system integration i.e. know-how electrical components interface with automated systems controlled by technologies like PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA.

Essential skills and qualifications:

Maintenance proficiency:

Strong, demonstrated experience with Electrical maintenance(AMC) is a primary requirement. Knowledge of automation-specific features and reporting is critical.

Electrical engineering foundation:

A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is typically required.

Knowledge of automation:

Understanding of industrial automation components, such as PLCs, sensors, switchgear, and control wiring practices.

Problem-solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve design conflicts and issues.

Industry knowledge:

Familiarity with the specific standards and practices of industries like manufacturing, oil and gas, or commercial construction.

Attention to detail:

Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to produce accurate schematics and documentation that prevent errors during assembly and installation.

Communication:

Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, engineers, and manufacturing teams

Qualification: Diploma/ B. Tech. (Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics).
