Position Overview



The

AMC & ADC - Documentation /processing Specialist

plays a key role in developing, coordinating, and delivering education programs related to clinical documentation, assessment preparation, standards interpretation, and regulatory compliance for medical and dental professionals. This role will support trainers, assessors, clinical educators, and candidates by providing high-quality training, documentation guidance, and educational resources that reflect AMC and ADC requirements.

Key Responsibilities



1. Training Program Delivery & Facilitation



Plan, develop, and deliver training workshops and modules focused on documentation standards, clinical assessment preparation, and professional competency expectations. Provide interactive sessions for internationally qualified medical and dental practitioners preparing for AMC/ADC assessments.

2. Documentation Standards & Education Support



Guide trainees and trainers on best practices in clinical and professional documentation, including accuracy, compliance, and legal standards relevant within Australian healthcare settings. Support development of educational materials and documentation templates used in training and assessment processes.

3. Curriculum & Resource Development



Collaborate with subject matter experts to create up-to-date documentation guidelines, training resources, and instructional content aligned with AMC/ADC frameworks. Maintain and update training content to reflect changes in accreditation standards and examination expectations.

4. Stakeholder Engagement



Liaise with AMC, ADC, clinical supervisors, assessors, and educational partners to ensure training content is relevant and meets professional standards. Assist in facilitating assessor and trainer preparation sessions that emphasise consistency and quality in documentation and assessment.

5. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement



Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance data, and quality measures. Identify opportunities for enhancing documentation practices and training delivery to improve candidate readiness for assessments.

6. Reporting & Compliance



Prepare training reports, documentation guidance briefs, and compliance summaries as needed. Ensure training activities align with organisational goals, AMC/ADC standards, and national regulatory expectations.

Qualifications & Experience



Essential:



Bachelor's degree or higher in Health Sciences, Medical Education, Dental Education, or a related healthcare field. Experience in healthcare education, training facilitation, or clinical assessment support. Strong knowledge of clinical documentation principles and professional standards in healthcare contexts. Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional skills.

Desirable:



Experience with Australian Medical Council (AMC) or Australian Dental Council (ADC) processes. Knowledge of clinical assessment, accreditation frameworks, and documentation standards used in AMC/ADC examinations. Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements for documentation in Australian health professions.
