Key Responsibilities
? Provide advanced life support (ALS) care to patients during emergencies and transport.
? Perform intubation (ETT) and airway management in critical cases.
? Conduct ECG monitoring and operate defibrillators for cardiac emergencies.
? Administer Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) procedures as per AHA protocols.
? Assist in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) care for trauma patients.
? Monitor and record vital signs (BP, HR, SpO?, RR, Temperature) accurately.
? Administer medications via IV/IM/IO routes as per protocols.
? Perform oxygen therapy and maintain patient oxygenation.
? Operate and maintain advanced ambulance medical equipment including ventilators, suction machines, infusion pumps, and monitors.
? Ensure the ambulance is fully equipped, clean, and ready for emergency calls at all times. ? Document patient care reports accurately and promptly.
? Liaise effectively with hospitals, emergency rooms, and other healthcare professionals during patient handover.
? Follow all safety, infection control, and operational protocols as per company and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications & Certifications
? Education: ? B.Sc (EMT) / B.Sc. Nursing / GNM / certified.
? Experience: ? Minimum 3 years' experience working on an ACLS Ambulance.
? Mandatory Certifications: ? BLS (Basic Life Support) - Valid certificate from AHA. ? ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Valid certificate from AHA.
? Preferred: ATLS certification and advanced trauma management skills. Skills & Competencies
? Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and ACLS protocols.
? Proficient in intubation, defibrillation, ECG interpretation, and IV/IM medication administration
. ? Ability to operate advanced ambulance equipment with accuracy.
? Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
? Strong communication and patient handling skills.
? Ability to work long shifts, night duties, and under pressure.
? Physically fit to handle patient lifting, movement, and emergency situations. Work Environment
? Fast-paced, high-pressure emergency response setting.
? Frequent travel in ambulances during emergency calls.
? Exposure to various medical situations, including trauma, cardiac emergencies, and critical illnesses.
