Job Summary:

The Ambulance Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from the diagnostic center, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The role includes assisting patients during transfer, ensuring the ambulance is clean and well-maintained, and supporting emergency and non-emergency patient transport as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate the ambulance to transport patients to and from the diagnostic center, hospitals, clinics, or patient residences. Assist patients in getting on and off the ambulance, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitization of the ambulance after each trip. Check and maintain vehicle condition--fuel, oil, water, brakes, and first aid supplies. Ensure all necessary medical equipment (oxygen cylinders, stretchers, etc.) are available and functional. Follow traffic rules, healthcare transport regulations, and organizational safety protocols. Respond promptly to transport requests, including emergency calls when required. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and transport documentation. Coordinate with medical and diagnostic staff to ensure timely patient movement. Report any vehicle malfunctions or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid driving license for transport vehicles (LMV or equivalent as per local regulation). Minimum [2-3] years of experience as an ambulance or transport driver (preferably in a healthcare setting). Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and first aid. Ability to handle patients with empathy, patience, and professionalism. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with local routes and healthcare facilities.

Work Conditions:

May require working in shifts, weekends, or public holidays. Exposure to various weather and traffic conditions. Involves patient handling and occasional emergency response.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
