Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Transport & Safety

Drive the ambulance safely to attend emergency calls. Transport patients from accident sites, homes, or other facilities to the hospital. Assist in lifting patients onto stretchers or wheelchairs when needed. Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport.

2. Emergency Response

Respond promptly to emergency calls from hospital control room. Follow traffic rules and use sirens appropriately during emergencies. Coordinate with emergency staff for patient handover.

3. Vehicle Maintenance

Check ambulance condition daily (fuel, brakes, tyres, lights, siren). Maintain cleanliness of ambulance (inside & outside). Ensure medical equipment inside the ambulance is intact and reported if missing/damaged. Report any mechanical problems immediately to the maintenance team.

4. Documentation & Records

Maintain a logbook of daily trips, kilometres, and fuel usage. Record patient pick-up and drop details accurately. Assist in completing incident or accident reports when required.

5. Professional Conduct

Follow hospital rules, dress code, and maintain discipline. Behave politely with patients, relatives, and staff. Maintain confidentiality about patient information.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
