Position:

Ambulance Driver

Location:

Horizon Prime Hospital, Thane

Key Responsibilities:

Drive ambulance vehicles for emergency and scheduled patient transport as per hospital protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort during transit. Assist in safe loading and unloading of patients, stretchers, and medical equipment. Keep the ambulance clean, sanitized, and well-stocked with required medical supplies. Perform daily checks of the vehicle (fuel, brakes, tires, etc.) and report any maintenance issues. Follow all traffic laws and hospital policies while driving. Maintain accurate records/logbooks of daily trips, fuel usage, and mileage. Coordinate with hospital staff, paramedics, and emergency teams efficiently. Respond promptly to emergency calls as per duty allocation. Handle patients and their families with empathy and professionalism.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must hold a

valid Transport (T) Permit Driving License

. Minimum

2 years of experience

driving an ambulance or working in a hospital setting. Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations. Physically and mentally fit to handle emergency situations. Basic understanding of medical emergency protocols (preferred).

Below 50 years.

Duty:

12-hour shifts (rotational - day and night). Willingness to work in a hospital environment and during emergencies. Must be punctual, disciplined, and responsible.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
