Role Overview
We're looking for a results-driven Amazon leader to own the end-to-end P&L of assigned Amazon categories while planning, executing, and optimizing PPC campaigns to drive profitable growth. This role blends commercial ownership, performance marketing, and operational excellence.
You'll be accountable for revenue, margin, advertising efficiency, and category strategy--turning data into decisions and decisions into growth.
Key Responsibilities
Category & P&L Ownership
Own full P&L responsibility for assigned Amazon categories (revenue, gross margin, contribution margin).
Set and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and profitability targets.
Identify growth opportunities through pricing, promotions, assortment expansion, and cost optimization.
Monitor key financial KPIs and take corrective actions to hit targets.
Amazon PPC & Advertising
Plan, launch, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display).
Manage ad budgets to maximize ROAS, TACoS, and contribution margin.
Conduct keyword research, bid optimization, search term mining, and negative keyword management.
Test and scale campaign structures, placements, and creatives.
Collaborate with content teams to improve listing conversion rates and ad performance.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Analyze performance across traffic, conversion, advertising, and profitability metrics.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership visibility.
Use data to diagnose issues and propose actionable improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with supply chain to ensure inventory health and avoid stockouts or overstock.
Partner with creative/content teams on A+ content, brand store, and ad creatives.
Coordinate with finance on forecasting, budgeting, and margin analysis.
Marketplace & Competitive Strategy
Monitor competitors, category trends, and Amazon policy changes.
Recommend pricing, promotional, and positioning strategies based on market insights.

Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of hands-on Amazon marketplace experience
Proven experience owning or influencing P&L performance
Strong expertise in Amazon PPC campaign management
Advanced analytical skills (Excel/Sheets; BI tools a plus)
Deep understanding of Amazon algorithms, attribution, and retail dynamics
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
