Role Overview
The Amazon Operations & Compliance Manager will oversee all day-to-day operational and compliance activities in Amazon Seller Central across multiple marketplaces. This role ensures that listings remain active, compliant, and optimized, while also managing reimbursements, case resolutions, and policy adherence.
This position will free up Brand Managers to focus on growth and strategy, while ensuring Amazon operations run seamlessly in the background.
Key Responsibilities
1. Listing & Catalog Management
Manage all Amazon listing operations: flat file uploads, parent-child variations, attribute updates.
Monitor and resolve suppressed, stranded, and inactive ASINs daily.
Maintain brand registry submissions and ensure consistency across marketplaces.
2. Compliance & Policy Management
Monitor and address compliance issues (keywords, claims, DG/Hazmat flags).
Work closely with Regulatory Affairs team (Senior Manager, Arunima, Sohel) to submit required documents (SDS, COA, HRIPT, etc.).
Proactively prevent suspensions and policy violations.
3. Reimbursements & Cost Recovery
File and track FBA reimbursement claims for lost/damaged inventory and fee overcharges.
Audit discrepancies in shipments and ensure compensation.
Use tools like Helium10 Refund Genie, Sellerboard, or manual audits.
4. Case & Issue Management
Own the Amazon case log - raise, escalate, and resolve support tickets.
Track response times and push for faster resolutions.
Maintain an issue tracker with clear visibility for Brand Managers and leadership.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with Inventory team on shipment reconciliation.
Support PPC Managers by ensuring listings remain ad-eligible.
Assist Brand Managers in smooth product launches by handling back-end uploads and approvals.
KPIs / Success Metrics
% of listings active with zero suppression/inactivity.
Value of reimbursements recovered from Amazon (target: $50K-100K+ annually).
Average resolution time for Amazon cases.
Zero major account suspensions or policy violations.
On-time support for new product launches.
Requirements
3-5 years experience in Amazon Seller Central operations & compliance.
Strong knowledge of flat files, brand registry, listing troubleshooting.
Experience filing and tracking reimbursements (Helium10/Sellerboard preferred).
Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple marketplaces (US, CA, MX, UK, EU, AU).
Strong communication skills for Amazon case escalations.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with Walmart Seller Center operations.
Familiarity with e-commerce compliance workflows (SDS, COA, DG).
Worked with $10M+ Amazon accounts previously.
