We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager -Record to Report!

The Finance Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate financial recording through strong controls over Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Receipts (GRs), invoices, and accruals. The role focuses on improving data quality upfront, ensuring timely and accurate month-end accounting, and preventing duplicate expenses or reporting gaps through close collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Genpact, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Procure-to-Pay (P2P) & PR Governance

Implement and follow standardized procedures for reviewing and submitting Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure correct General Ledger Account (GLA) classification at the approval stage. Improve PR data quality by validating cost classification, completeness, and accuracy upfront to reduce downstream rework and accounting corrections. Support business stakeholders in PR creation, corrections, and compliance with finance policies.

PO, GR & Accrual Management

Ensure all large PO lines are accurately goods-receipted (GR'd) for goods and services delivered within the current month. Review open and incomplete GRs and coordinate with business requestors to confirm delivery status. Where GRs are not completed within the month, review PO spend and prepare or submit manual accruals to Accounting to ensure expenses are recorded in the correct accounting period. Partner with Finance and Genpact after month-end close to ensure GRs are formally entered in Ariba for all manually accrued items, in line with the GR cutover process. Prevent duplicate expenses and reporting gaps by ensuring alignment between accruals, GRs, and system postings.


Invoice & Reconciliation Support

(2-Way/3 Way Match) Validate end-to-end alignment between Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and invoices to ensure accurate financial processing. Support invoice issue resolution, including PO/GR mismatches, blocked invoices, and pricing or quantity discrepancies. Coordinate with Accounting, Engineers, SSMs, and FP&A teams to resolve exceptions and close outstanding items.

Month-End Close & Reporting

Support month-end close activities by tracking open accruals, GRs, and financial exceptions. Maintain and report on aging items, open POs, accrual status, and operational metrics for weekly and monthly reviews. Monitor aged, inactive, or mismatched POs and drive closure or correction actions.

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations, focusing on control strengthening, efficiency, and accuracy. Proactively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure timely resolution of issues. Maintain clear documentation of processes, exceptions, and resolutions to support audit and compliance requirements.
Others

Strong understanding of accrual accounting, financial controls, and compliance. Experience with PR, PO, GR, and invoice reconciliation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and external partners (e.g., Genpact). Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Ownership mindset with the ability to track issues through closure.
