We are seeking a detail-oriented and decisive Assistant Manager - Security to join our team in ibis Styles Mysuru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations, managing personnel, and ensuring the safety of our facilities and assets.

Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures Manage and train security personnel to maintain high standards of performance Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems and equipment Coordinate with local law enforcement and other relevant agencies Investigate and report on security incidents and breaches Develop and manage emergency response plans Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Analyze security data and trends to improve overall security measures Manage budgets and resources for the security department

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in security management or a similar role Proficiency in security management systems and surveillance techniques Strong knowledge of physical security and information security principles Excellent risk assessment and threat analysis skills Proven leadership and team management abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations Professional security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred Familiarity with local security regulations and practices in Mysuru, India * Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
