Description The IT Operations Specialist focuses upon activities that help to identify and manage the changing customer / business / user needs (regarding IT requirements) and ensure customer satisfaction with Vodafone s IT products and services in line with the Customer Service Management strategy. Providing technical advice and administration across the IT lifecycle for all end-users. The IT Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in IT operations including administration and maintenance of assigned applications, services, systems and solutions, incident management, problem management, change and release management and vendor management, to drive improvements through innovation, best practice techniques, and collaboration. Typically reports to the IT Operations Manager.(Job ID 209769) #_VOIS Job Responsibility Primary Skills (not more than 2): Amdocs Switch or Amdocs UPS Alternate Skills (if applicable) : Amdocs CSM Production Support/SQL Role purpose: Application operation of Amdocs Switch,UPS and Amdocs CSM Solve incident & problem tickets and work orders from the 1st level and other departments Daily health checks with accuracy Able to put robust monitoring to catch issues at earliest Correction of erroneous data by manual intervention and workarounds Addressing, coordinating and tracking the removal of the causes of faults Should also accomplish on call support for system during peak times Should be able to handle job failures and provide quick workarounds Support migration of new & changed software, elaborate and perform production checks Should get cross skilled similar applications
