Roles and Responsibilities Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Work closely with the Front Office users and the Operations users
Work effectively thru good interpersonal and communications skills with representatives of a diverse range of departments located in various locations (FO, MO, IT).
Identify, resolve and report issues of IT platform to the concern team and users.
Maintain a very good/detailed understanding of Trading platforms and Trade workflow, FO, MO and BO systems and interfaces as appropriate, Front to Back operational processes
Work closely with other IT groups (vendors, IT Development, IT Infrastructure):
To ensure IT environment availability,
To track that business requirements related to IT are fulfill,
To reactively manage any IT issue or traders requirements with accurate reporting to the line manager and concerned teams.
To document the overall support activity.
To perform the BOD/EOD checks, support scenarios, create, and maintain support best practices.
To be involved in tests of new functionalities of applications under your perimeter.
When appropriate, manage and/or coach more junior staffs.
Maintain record of system changes, IT incidents/problems, and information to be shared within the team.
Understand and observe compliance rules, including IT employee code of conduct.
Ensure IT Security recommendations are implemented by IT.
Pro-actively report potential security risks or breaches.
Report any issues to the line manager in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Technical & Behavioral CompetenciesTechnical
Indian Capital market knowledge for NSE/BSE
UNIX basic knowledge
Windows 2012/2016 knowledge
Support skills on troubleshooting Software/Hardware issues
Networking and TCP/IP knowledge
IT Process knowledge of SDLC
Incident management knowledge – ITIL process
NOTIS/NCMS installation and Operational knowledge
BOLT/NEAT installation and Operational knowledge
Bloomberg knowledge.
Audit IT knowledge (NSE / BSE yearly audit)
Behavioral

Specific Qualifications
5 to 10 years’ experience in capital markets area and mainly in the institutional broking business (FII broker)
Experience in interacting with Front Office Traders & Business Users.
Experience in Exchange certification of Algo, DMA , SOR, CTCL
Experience with vendor systems like Dolphin, Protector, Omnesys, TCS BaNCS, Greeksoft and global FO systems
