Job Description


Purpose
The Assistant Manager - HR aligns HR practices with business goals, supports talent acquisition, employee
engagement, and L&D, manages payroll, benefits, and compliance, oversees office administration, and
drives HR process implementation, analytics, and digitization for organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Business Partner (HRBP)

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing queries and resolving grievances
promptly.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities, pulse surveys, and feedback sessions to enhance satisfaction
and morale.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal tracking, reviews, and feedback
coordination.
  • Collaborate with managers on workforce planning and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in talent acquisition activities, coordinating with hiring managers, scheduling interviews,
managing candidate pipelines, and supporting onboarding processes.
  • Support Learning & Development (L&D) programs by identifying training needs and coordinating
relevant initiatives.
  • Drive process implementation and ensure adherence to HR policies and best practices across the
organization.
  • Execute onboarding and induction programs for smooth integration of new hires.
2. Payroll Management
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Administer employee benefits such as bonuses, LTA, Sodexo, car kits, and reimbursements.
  • Handle tax deductions, compliance filings, and prepare payroll reports for management.
  • Coordinate with Finance for payroll reconciliations and payment distribution.
  • Process final settlements for exiting employees and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee Mediclaim and term insurance updates, including additions and deletions, and provide
support to employees with Mediclaim claims and settlements.

  • Oversee daily office administration, including housekeeping, facility maintenance, and security.
  • Oversee & manage vendor relationships for office supplies, repairs, and other essential services.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, environmental regulations, and renewal of required
certifications as and when required.
  • Monitor administrative budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support event logistics, meeting arrangements, and employee workspace setup.
4. HR Analytics and Digitization
  • Collect, analyze, and report HR and payroll data, focusing on trends and key performance indicators.
  • Prepare variance reports to highlight discrepancies between budgeted and actual HR costs, payroll
expenses, and other key metrics.
  • Support in HR digitization efforts, ensuring the efficient use of HRMS, payroll systems, and other HR
tools.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on HR analytics to improve business
processes.
Qualifications:
  • MBA/BBA in HR with 68 years of experience in HRBP, payroll, administration, and HR analytics.
  • Proficient in HRMS/ERP tools, payroll systems, and advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, operational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance, L&D, and experience in process implementation and adherence.
  • Experience in handling Mediclaim and term insurance administration is a plus.
