About the role
As a Brand Design and Visual Communications Assistant Manager, you will create distinctive brand designs rich with unique assets and aesthetics, aligning with GCPLs vision. Focused on branding and packaging, youll rejuvenate and create brands across diverse categories and geographies, bringing fresh ideas and challenging the status quo as part of our Global Design Team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design thinking, design practice and critical thinking:

• Highly driven by design processes and ethos at the Design Lab, with a keen interest and ability to design and lead research in sighting and system thinking
• Creating clear briefs, problem statements, narratives, and design proposals
• Inventive and influential with strategic design thinking, and capable of experimenting independently

2. Visual communication and brand design skills:

• Developing distinctive brand architecture and identity, logo systems, imagery and type design
• Ability to convert ideas to various application mediums like packaging, web, POS, and Digital
• Ensuring user-centric visual communication that is inclusive and contextual, crucial to our company's brand representation
• Demonstrating high proficiency in software or other creative mediums to prototype ideas with high-quality stimulus, e.g., Adobe Illustrator, C4D, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketching, Photo rendering, etc.
• Possessing capabilities and skills in AI, videomaking, digital design, and motion design, which are highly preferred for this role.

3. Creative entrepreneurship, project management, and professionalism:

• Positioning the design function is at the center, partnering with other functions to support new brand development, new product development, launch execution, and strategic brand design aligned with the business objectives.
• Exhibiting functional expertise, project management skills, and values of being bold, having 100/0 ownership, and creating delight
• Ensuring timely communication, self-driven project management and cross-functional teamwork
• Valuing self-initiating projects and an intrapreneurial outlook that enriches design ideas, design processes, or culture at the Design Lab
