About Business line/Function:

ALMT function is responsible for Asset Liabilities management and treasury activity of BNP Paribas. It also handles Bank\xe2\x80\x99s funding needs and risk management activities. ALMT IT is a Deal Capture & Deal Processing Application catering to IT demands of ALMT functions within the bank.

OMR is a settlement application used to handle the settlement and associated functionality of local booking within ALMT world in BNP Paribas. OMR IT team supports the above functionality through customizations on the vendor product OMR, design and development of interfaces that communicate with other applications as part of the settlement lifecycle and also through a set of Business Objects reports that provide insights and necessary control for the Operations and Business

Position Purpose

Current position is under ALMT IT OMR Team scope to contribute in individual capacity on development, enhancements, and maintenance & support activities for multiple applications.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Application designing / development / testing / support / enhancements / bug fixing.

\xc2\xb7 Interact with functional and technical representatives of project teams in order to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanism and data sources.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare test plans and conduct Unit & Regression Testing.

\xc2\xb7 Create prototype for proof of concept and business requirements validations.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of software development lifecycle and day-to-day development work.

\xc2\xb7 Estimate efforts, schedule for various modules, and meet deadlines.

\xc2\xb7 Technical and Release Documentation

\xc2\xb7 To participate in out-of-hours / daytime support as required

\xc2\xb7 To work with teams to help solve complex technical problems

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Mandatory Technical Skills:

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge on Oracle Database concepts such as design and development of databases

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge on Database SQL and PLSQL language (Procedural programming like Procedures, Functions, Triggers etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Experience in technical analysis and database designing and performance tuning

\xc2\xb7 Good Knowledge on Linux/ Unix environment and good hands on experience on Shell Scripting and debugging shell script jobs.

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of version control tools, preferably Bitbucket

\xc2\xb7 Ability to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools)

\xc2\xb7 Thorough understanding of complete Software Development Lifecycle
