Job Title: AIX System Administrator
Experience Level: 3+ Years
Location:-Gurgaon, Noida
Must - Have:- Minimum L2 level AIX Server admin Skills
1) AIX Support Experience in Big Data center environment
2) Strong Knowledge of AIX LVM, NIM, Networking, Performance 3) Experience of Hardware replacements of disks and adapters
3) Worked on AIX virtualization & HACMP clusters environment
4) Strong working knowledge/understanding of Unix
5) IBM AIX /Power HA cluster Certified
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:-
1) AIX 7.1 & 7.2 OS Installation and Patching (OS updates & migration using nimadm)
2) OS Administration Tasks, Troubleshoot and Analyze Operational Issues
3) Good working Knowledge of AIX NIM and working on HMC
4) Extensively worked on hardware replacements like bad disks, adapters etc.
5) Good Knowledge of AIX Logical Volume Manager, NFS and Networking
6) Experience of doing Firmware upgrades of server, disks and adapters
7) Good communication, should be able to handle client calls & Vendor coordination
8) Basic Shell Scripting
