Seeking a highly experienced and innovative Airborne System Python Architect to lead the design and development of scalable Python-based frameworks and libraries that support AI and machine learning initiatives. You will work closely with the Onsite AI Architect to ensure that model development, deployment, and integration are efficient, maintainable, and production-ready. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Embedded system knowledge, especially in InFlight Entertainment working experience in Python engineering, software architecture, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:




Design and develop reusable, modular Python libraries to support AI/ML workflows for Test automation onf InFlight Entertainment system using Hardware Labs.




Collaborate with the AI Architect to build scalable infrastructure for deploying transformer-based models and LLMs for IFE.




Architect microservices-based Python applications for AI services.




Optimize Python codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability.




Implement robust data processing pipelines and orchestration frameworks.




Expeirnce in hardware lab for various configurations is a plus




Ensure seamless integration of Python components with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).




Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes in a plus.




Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and other tools.




Integrate testing frameworks and enforce Agile development practices.




Apply DevOps tools and automation frameworks to streamline deployment and operations.




Establish coding standards, best practices, and documentation for Python development.




Conduct code reviews and mentor Python developers and AI engineers.




Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts using Appium for intelligent testing.




Evaluate and integrate third-party Python packages and tools to accelerate development.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Python architecture with business and technical goals.

Required Qualifications:




Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.




8+ years of experience in Python development, with 3+ years in architectural roles.




Strong expertise in building scalable Python applications and libraries.




Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).




Proficiency in microservices architecture and cloud-native development.




Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).




Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, and DevOps automation.




Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing frameworks.

Experience supporting LLM-based systems and AI infrastructure.




Knowledge of distributed computing and parallel processing in Python.




Exposure to MLOps tools and practices.




Certifications in Python, cloud, or DevOps technologies.




Experience in embedded software development is a strong plus.
