We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Air Freight Manager to lead and manage our air freight operations in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in air export operations, with working knowledge of import procedures, and should be DG qualified.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee air freight operations, with a primary focus on exports and

working knowledge of imports

2. Lead and motivate a high-performing operations team

3. Maintain strong relationships with airlines, customers, and freight partners

4. Handle competitive pricing, rate negotiations, and ensure service excellence

5. Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations and standard operating

procedures

6. Manage documentation and coordination with customs, ground handlers, and related

authorities

7. Support business development efforts and maintain local market intelligence

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in air freight operations, with team management

exposure

2. Strong understanding of the Kolkata air freight market and business environment

3. Proven track record of managing air export operations; knowledge of import is a plus

4. Established connections with airlines and freight customers

5. DG certified (Dangerous Goods qualified)

6. Preferably holds a valid G-Card

7. Preferably an Airport Pass holder

8. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (spoken & written)

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
