Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified

Air Diving Supervisor

with over 10 years of operational experience in managing and executing surface-supplied diving operations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of diving safety protocols, leadership in supervising dive teams, and the ability to handle both routine and emergency situations with efficiency and professionalism. Experience in offshore oil & gas, marine infrastructure, and underwater inspection projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all air diving operations in accordance with company and international safety standards (IMCA/ADC/ISSA/IDSA as applicable). Ensure the dive team's readiness, competency, and certification before operations. Conduct daily safety briefings and risk assessments for dive operations. Monitor and manage the dive control station during operations. Maintain dive logs, checklists, and project documentation accurately. Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow. Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations, following established protocols. Inspect and verify the functionality of diving equipment before and after dives. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of commercial diving experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with offshore oil & gas projects, NDT inspections, and underwater construction. Familiarity with IMCA and industry codes of practice. Multilingual capabilities (especially English and regional languages). Valid

Air Diving Supervisor certification

from a recognized body (e.g., IMCA/IDSA/ADC). Up-to-date

HSE, First Aid/CPR

, and

DMT

(preferred). Strong understanding of dive physics, decompression theory, and surface-supplied diving equipment. Ability to lead a team and maintain discipline and safety in challenging conditions. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Offshore survival (BOSIET/FOET) and medical fitness certificates required.
