Role Summary

A Junior AI/ML Engineer plays a more independent role in building and deploying machine
learning models. You will collaborate across teams to deliver production
ready solutions and contribute to optimizing existing models.

Responsibilities

End
to
end model development:

Prepare data, select algorithms, train and fine
tune models, and evaluate performance.

Deploy and monitor models:

Integrate models into production, set up monitoring dashboards and retrain models as needed to maintain accuracy.

Optimize data pipelines:

Work with data engineers to design efficient data pipelines and leverage big
data tools such as Hadoop or Spark.

Collaborate with stakeholders:

Liaise with product managers, software engineers and other team members to gather requirements and translate business problems into ML tasks.

Stay current:

Keep up with advancements in machine
learning frameworks, research papers and industry best practices.
Requirements

Experience:

1-2 years of professional or strong internship experience in developing and deploying machine
learning models.

Programming proficiency:

Solid Python programming skills and experience with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit
learn).

Mathematics and statistics:

Strong grasp of linear algebra, probability, statistics and optimization techniques.

Big
data and databases:

Familiarity with SQL and big
data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) for working with large datasets.

Software engineering:

Understanding of data structures, version control (Git) and software development best practices.

Education:

Bachelor's (or master's) degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.

Communication:

Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with cross
functional teams
