We are seeking a skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our team and lead the development of advanced features for an AI-powered chatbot. This chatbot serves as a cutting-edge educational tool designed to handle text-based and audio queries with future enhancements in advanced NLP and speech-processing capabilities.

The ideal candidate will work on implementing custom AI/ML solutions, fine-tuning models, and improving the chatbot's performance through advanced analytics and language processing algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Model Development: Design, train, and deploy custom AI/ML models tailored for chatbot functionality, including query understanding, intent detection, and contextual retention. Fine-tune large language models (e.g., GPT models) for domain-specific use cases. Speech Processing: Implement and optimize Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Speech-to-Speech (STS) functionalities using APIs or custom models. Enhance audio capabilities to handle diverse accents, languages, and educational contexts. NLP and Text Analytics: Develop algorithms for intent recognition, sentiment analysis, and user personalization. Enhance chatbot interactions by improving natural language understanding (NLU) and natural language generation (NLG). Integration with Existing Systems: Collaborate with Django backend developers to integrate AI/ML solutions seamlessly with the existing API. Ensure scalability and reliability of AI functionalities in production environments. Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement strategies for improvement, such as model compression, faster inference, and optimization of token usage. Continuously update models to align with the latest advancements in AI/ML. Data Collection and Analysis: Set up data pipelines for training models using chatbot interaction logs. Develop feedback mechanisms to improve model accuracy over time. Collaborative Development: Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure AI-driven features align with user needs and project goals. Guide team members in integrating ML solutions and scaling AI systems.
Required Skills and Experience

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Experience: 1.5 - 2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development with a proven track record of deploying ML models in production environments. Strong experience in working with large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT) and fine-tuning for specific use cases. Experience with speech-processing tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI Whisper, Kaldi, DeepSpeech, Amazon Polly, Google Speech-to-Text). Experience with educational/chatbot AI systems, reinforcement learning, and MLOps. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Strong understanding of NLP, NLU, and NLG concepts. Hands-on experience with REST APIs and integrating ML models into web applications. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying AI solutions. Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative mindset to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with educational or chatbot applications. Experience in reinforcement learning and adaptive AI systems. Exposure to multi-modal AI (text, audio, video) systems. Knowledge of MLOps practices for maintaining AI/ML pipelines.
