Now, we're looking for a

creative, AI-first Video Editor

who can turn raw footage and ideas into high-impact storytelling for social media, websites, and brand explainers.

Role Overview

You'll be the

visual storyteller

for Startup Builder and our clients -- creating stunning

social media videos, reels, and explainer videos

using a mix of

traditional editing + AI-powered tools

.
You'll work closely with our marketing and content teams to bring ideas to life -- fast, smart, and scroll-stopping.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and produce high-quality

short-form and long-form videos

for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and websites. Create

explainer videos, corporate stories, and startup promo films

using AI tools. Use

AI-powered platforms

(Pika, Runway ML, Synthesia, Veed.io, Descript, or similar) for automation, captions, and creative storytelling. Add text overlays, graphics, sound design, transitions, and animation that align with each brand's visual identity. Collaborate with content and marketing teams for scripting, visual direction, and storyboarding. Maintain an organized library of footage, templates, and creative assets. Optimize videos for performance across different platforms (aspect ratios, length, formats). Stay ahead of social trends, AI video tools, and new editing styles.

Must-Have Skills

Strong command of

Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve

. Hands-on experience with

AI video tools

like

Runway ML, Pika Labs, Synthesia, Descript, or Kapwing AI

. Understanding of

social media video formats

(Reels, Shorts, Explainers). Creative eye for pacing, storytelling, color grading, and typography. Ability to transform raw footage into compelling, emotionally engaging content. Comfortable using

AI voiceovers, script-to-video, and motion tools

. Basic knowledge of

Canva / Figma

for thumbnail & social post adaptation.

Bonus Skills

Knowledge of 2D/3D motion graphics or animation (After Effects or AI tools). Experience creating

explainer or startup product videos

. Awareness of

social trends and meme culture

. Familiar with

YouTube SEO

and thumbnail strategy.
