Calisade Asset Management is developing a next-generation research and analytics platform. We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to help build core components of our applied machine learning stack. You'll work on complex problems at the intersection of natural language understanding, information extraction, and model-based reasoning.

About the Role

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will design, train, and deploy machine learning systems that support real-world research and decision-making workflows. You will collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to translate analytical needs into scalable AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and train LLM-based applications
Develop robust data-to-model pipelines for AI workflows
Fine-tune and evaluate models for performance and reliability
Prototype agentic workflows and structured automation systems
Collaborate with engineering leads to integrate AI into core product workflows

Requirements

Qualifications
--------------



Strong Python and deep learning fundamentals
Experience with transformer architectures or modern LLMs
Familiarity with NLP, generative AI, or model-serving frameworks
Ability to navigate ambiguous problem statements and find structured solutions
Comfort iterating quickly and working independently in a fast-paced environment
