Overview
As AI Implementation Manager, you will play a key role in embedding AI into the day-to-day ways we work across the consultancy. You will be responsible for ensuring that our teams (across both client-facing practices and enabling functions) understand how to apply AI tools effectively and responsibly.
This role requires a combination of project management, training, and change management skills, as well as a passion for AI and its potential to transform consulting. You will act as a coach and champion for AI adoption, working closely with colleagues across our Medical, Commercial, and Competitive Strategy practices, as well as our enabling functions (e.g., Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing). You will deliver hands-on training, support pilots, and ensure consistent application of AI-enabled approaches across both client engagements and internal workflows.

Example Responsibilities

  • Training & Coaching: Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and one-to-one coaching to upskill colleagues across practices and enabling functions in AI tools and methodologies.
  • Change Management: Support teams in adopting new AI-driven ways of working, ensuring smooth integration into existing processes, deliverables, and workflows.
  • Project Management: Lead AI implementation projects from initiation through to completion, coordinating stakeholders across practices and enabling functions to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Support Deliverables: Assist project teams in applying AI to client engagements, helping to merge datasets, generate insights, and create efficiencies.
  • Internal Enablement: Identify opportunities where AI can improve workflows across enabling functions such as operations, finance, HR, and marketing.
  • Best Practice Development: Capture learnings from pilots and implementations, and translate them into standard processes and frameworks.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track adoption and measure the impact of AI-enabled approaches across projects, practices, and enabling functions.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with the AI Lead, practice heads, and enabling function leaders to align on strategy and ensure consistent execution of the AI roadmap.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of developments in AI and share insights with colleagues to keep skills and approaches current.
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Other Skills
The following criteria outline the minimum hiring criteria for this position, unless otherwise stipulated below as "preferred," or "a plus."
  • Education: Graduate degree in business, data science, life sciences, or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience also considered.
  • Experience: Professional services or consulting background with demonstrable project management and training experience.
  • Strong interest and passion for AI and digital transformation.
  • Ability to collaborate with others to design and deliver training programmes.
  • Proven ability to coach individuals or teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organisation, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for non-technical colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or biopharma consulting preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience supporting both client-facing teams and enabling functions in professional services organisations is a plus.
  • Change management experience is a plus.
  • Agile and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
