Role Overview
We are seeking a curious, disciplined, and technically strong AI Engineering Intern to support LiaPlus AI's product engineering initiatives. This role involves hands-on coding, model experimentation, feature testing, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior engineers. You will work on real-world applications of Python, AI/ML fundamentals, and integration workflows that power enterprise-grade Voice AI solutions. This internship is designed to sharpen your technical problem-solving skills while contributing to meaningful product outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Support: Assist in developing, testing, and debugging AI-driven product features.
Prototyping & Experiments: Build and refine small-scale prototypes to validate AI/ML use cases.
Code Contributions: Write clean, efficient Python code to support ongoing development cycles.
Integration Assistance: Support API integrations, cloud services, and third-party system connections.
Documentation: Maintain technical notes, feature records, and testing logs to ensure transparency.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Tech Manager and engineering team on sprint deliverables.
Research: Stay updated on emerging AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies relevant to the product roadmap.
Requirements

• Education: Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, AI/ML, or related field.

• Core Skills: Strong command of Python; familiarity with data structures, APIs, and debugging.

• AI/ML Basics: Understanding of machine learning workflows, NLP concepts, or speech technologies is a plus.

• Tools Exposure: Knowledge of Git, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), or AI libraries (Hugging Face).

• Documentation: Ability to maintain structured notes and code-level documentation.

• Mindset: Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a startup environment.

• Work Ethic: Proactive, dependable, and collaborative with a problem-solving attitude.

• Good-to-have: Hands-on in Pipe-cat.
