ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an

AI Engineer

with strong hands-on experience in

Generative AI

,

Agentic AI workflows

, and

RAG-based knowledge systems

. This role involves

maintaining, optimizing, and extending AI components already running in production

, while collaborating closely with

backend and frontend teams

to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1) Generative & Agentic AI

Own and enhance

LLM-based systems

through

prompt engineering

and

structured context management

Design, develop, and optimize

agentic AI workflows

capable of:

Multi-step reasoning

Tool usage and API orchestration

Semi-autonomous decision-making

Maintain and extend

single-agent and multi-agent systems

built using

LangChain

,

LangGraph

, or similar frameworks

2) RAG & Knowledge Systems

Maintain and improve

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines

that ground LLM responses using:

Domain-specific knowledge bases

Databases, documents, APIs, and vector stores

Integrate and query

graph databases

such as

Neo4j / NebulaGraph

for:

Relationship-aware retrieval

Context modeling

Enhanced reasoning and dependency tracking

Optimize retrieval

accuracy, latency, and relevance

through continuous tuning and evaluation

3) System Integration & Backend Development

Integrate LLMs (

OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Groq

, etc.) into backend and frontend workflows Develop and maintain

Python-based backend services

, including:

API orchestration layers

Agent execution pipelines

Validation and schema enforcement

(e.g.,

Pydantic / PydanticAI

) Support frontend integration for AI-powered workflows (

Next.js / Node.js

experience is a plus)

4) Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Evaluate and refine

prompts, agent behavior, and RAG pipelines

for improved reliability Implement

logging, monitoring, and feedback loops

to improve output quality and performance Debug production issues related to

AI reasoning, retrieval, orchestration, and system integration

MUST HAVE SKILLS

4-5 years of software engineering experience

with a strong focus on

Python backend development

Strong hands-on experience with:

LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex

Generative AI systems, Agentic AI architectures, and RAG patterns

Strong understanding of:

Prompt engineering

Memory and context management

Multi-step reasoning and multi-agent orchestration

Experience working with:

Vector databases

(FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, etc.)

Graph databases

(

Neo4j, NebulaGraph

) Experience integrating

AI capabilities into backend systems

GOOD TO HAVE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

Experience with production monitoring tools:

OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana

Familiarity with

model evaluation frameworks

and

prompt testing

practices Exposure to

security/privacy best practices

for AI systems Frontend integration experience with

Next.js / Node.js
