Role Overview

To educate, inspire, and guide students in understanding concepts and applications in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Science, fostering computational thinking, problem-solving, programming skills, and digital literacy, and preparing students for higher education, careers in technology, and lifelong learning in STEM fields.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction:

Develop and deliver engaging lessons in AI and Computer Science for Classes IX-X & XI-XII, covering programming, algorithms, data structures, AI fundamentals, and applied projects.

Practical Learning:

Design hands-on coding exercises, AI projects, and simulations to reinforce concepts and encourage practical application.

Assessment:

Evaluate student understanding through quizzes, assignments, coding projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.

Curriculum Implementation:

Ensure alignment of lessons with CBSE curriculum, school standards, and emerging trends in AI and Computer Science.

Student Support:

Provide one-on-one guidance for students struggling with technical concepts and mentor advanced learners in coding or AI projects.

Integration & Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments to integrate AI and technology projects into school activities and competitions.

Innovation & Awareness:

Keep students updated on latest developments in AI and computing, promoting ethical use of technology and digital responsibility.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Student Feedback:

80% positive feedback from students through structured feedback forms.

Parent's Feedback:

80% positive feedback from parents gathered via periodic surveys.

Syllabi Completion:

100% of the prescribed syllabus to be covered and documented in the syllabi format.

Improvement of All Students:

Each student should demonstrate at least a 10% improvement from the first to subsequent internal assessments.

Academic Performance:

At least 50% of students should score above 75% in internal exams and board assessments.

Skills

Expertise in AI, programming languages (Python, Java, etc.), data structures, algorithms, computational thinking, student engagement, problem-solving, and project-based learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. B.Ed. or teaching experience preferred. Experience teaching AI, coding, and Computer Science to secondary and senior secondary students is highly desirable.
