About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Code Training Consultant (RLHF & Data Annotation) with a strong passion for code quality, readability, and technical education to support the training of next-generation Generative AI models. This role is not focused on building commercial applications; instead, you will help AI systems learn how to write, debug, and reason about complex software code.
You will work at the intersection of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, directly improving an AI model's ability to generate secure, efficient, and high-quality code from natural language instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Code Annotation & Documentation
Analyze complex code snippets and write precise, grammatically accurate explanations (docstrings and comments) describing logic, syntax, and functionality.
Prompt Engineering
Create high-quality natural language prompts and corresponding gold-standard code solutions to train AI models.
Reinforcement Learning (RLHF)
Review, evaluate, and rank AI-generated code outputs based on correctness, performance, readability, and coding standards. Identify and correct errors.
Quality Assurance
Ensure all training code adheres to strict coding standards and style guides (e.g., PEP 8) and is free from security vulnerabilities.
Error & Failure Analysis
Diagnose why AI-generated code fails (syntax issues, logical errors, edge cases) and provide actionable feedback to improve future outputs.
Code Review & Mentorship
Apply best practices from PR reviews and mentoring to guide model behavior and ensure high-quality training data.
Required Experience

• 6-8 years of professional experience in software development

• Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++)

• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system-level programming concepts

• Proven experience reviewing code and enforcing quality standards

• Excellent written English with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior developers or reviewing pull requests

• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows or LLM-based systems

• Experience writing developer documentation or educational content

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail with a strong focus on code readability and maintainability
