About the Role:
We are seeking a Mid-Level AI Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions utilising n8n and other AI tools. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to automate repetitive tasks, integrate third-party systems, and improve operational efficiency across departments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using n8n, integrating APIs, databases, and third-party tools.
• Incorporate AI models (LLMs, NLP, ML-based classification, etc.) into workflows for intelligent decision-making.
• Optimise the performance and reliability of existing automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and operations to build and improve internal AI/automation frameworks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production workflows, ensuring timely resolution of failures or delays.
• Maintain documentation for automation processes, integrations, and technical architecture.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are followed across all automation workflows.

Key Skills & Qualities:

• 2-4 years of experience in software development or automation engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with n8n (self-hosted or cloud version).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and JSON data formats.
• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript; basic Python knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying automation in cloud environments.
• Experience working with AI/ML APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, Hugging Face).
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and integration with automation tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
