Responsibilities

rotation, and planting schedules.

\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct soil analysis to assess fertility levels and provide recommendations for soil
health improvement.
\xe2\x97\x8f Advise on appropriate soil management practices to enhance crop growth.
\xe2\x97\x8f Identify and diagnose crop diseases and pest infestations.
\xe2\x97\x8f Develop integrated pest management strategies and recommend appropriate control
measures.
\xe2\x97\x8f Provide guidance on fertilizer application based on soil nutrient content and crop
requirements.
\xe2\x97\x8f Recommend sustainable nutrient management practices to enhance soil fertility.
\xe2\x97\x8f Advise on efficient irrigation practices, considering water conservation and crop water

\xe2\x97\x8f Stay abreast of agricultural technologies and recommend digital tools to enhance

agronomic practices.

\xe2\x97\x8f Practical experience in agronomy or related field.
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong knowledge of crop science, agronomic principles, and agricultural practices.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with farmers.
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency in English and Tamil.
\xe2\x97\x8f Familiarity with modern farming technologies and tools.
\xe2\x97\x8f Analytical mindset for interpreting data and providing actionable recommendations.
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of Google Sheets, Excel, and MS Office.
\xe2\x97\x8f Good time-management skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of Crop insects, diseases, Chemical and Fertilizer
