Responsibilities: \xef\x82\xb7 Research, develop and provide guidance on farming practices, leading-edge agronomy or products that increase profitability, sustainability, crop health & vigor \xef\x82\xb7 Working with industry partners on various projects, technology trials, research trials, assessing new technology options for clients \xef\x82\xb7 Provide agronomic advisory to clients year-round on fertility, pest management, and application timing \xef\x82\xb7 Provide year-round support and management strategies tailored to each individual client that helps drive production, sustainability and increase ROI \xef\x82\xb7 Identify Fertility and crop planning, zone creation and management, prescription writing; \xef\x82\xb7 Crop scouting to monitor plant growth & health, weeds, and provide solutions to any issues (pests, nutrient deficiencies, weather events) \xef\x82\xb7 Multi-zone and multi-depth soil sampling, tissue testing and analyzing results; \xef\x82\xb7 Participate in webinars, field days, trade shows while continually promoting business \xef\x82\xb7 Provide technological assistance to growers, loading prescriptions, troubleshooting and creating efficiencies \xef\x82\xb7 Work with and help other team members as needed \xef\x82\xb7 Gather, compile, analyze and interpret soil test results and apply results to crop planning, fertility management, in crop applications \xef\x82\xb7 Report development and preparation for soil results and trials Roles: \xef\x82\xb7 Develops and analyzes computer-based maps from satellite imagery and other precision sources to research soils, fertilizers, pests, weather, and other agricultural elements. \xef\x82\xb7 Evaluates materials that affect soil characteristics and drainage patterns. \xef\x82\xb7 Uses geospatial technology to create farm reports. \xef\x82\xb7 Uses global positioning systems (GPS) to improve and automate agricultural activities and processes. \xef\x82\xb7 Creates yield maps based on satellite monitor data. \xef\x82\xb7 Create crop scouting data deliverable and programmable agricultural equipment including pesticide and herbicide sprayers. \xef\x82\xb7 Reviews collected agricultural data; recommends appropriate crops to plant in specified areas based on data analysis. \xef\x82\xb7 Drafts and distributes reports of findings on field productivity and profitability. \xef\x82\xb7 Performs other related duties as required.
