Job Description
Agronomist Your job responsibilities will include but not exclusive to the following: (a) Crop surveying for Robusta and Arabica crop. (b) Planter relationship in coordination with the Sustainable Agri-Services division. (c) Ensure that the coffee planter get technical advice on Integrated Pest, disease and soil management practices on time. (d) Inculcate farmers with Coffee Harvesting, post-harvesting techniques so that farmers get good quality coffee. (e) Give technical guidelines to the planters through Farmer\'s Field School. (f) Pre-assessment of the farms and provide the report for corrective actions on GAP. (g) Regular visit to the planters so as to monitor the crop growth round the growing season. (h) Ensure that all the necessary documents on GAP are maintained by the farmers/groups as per the certification procedures. (i) Collection of the local weather data and should be able to correlate it on the crop growth or quality of the crop.
