Job Title: Agriculture Specialist Job Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra Salary: CTC INR 20,00 - 25,000 per month Job Summary: The Agriculture Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the Doordarshak ( Our Product name ) pilot program on the field. The candidate must visit the field once in two days for monitoring the results of the product. This includes identifying pests and diseases, assisting the technical team for development of solutions, reading research papers, articles for finding solutions to problems given by the technical team. The Agriculture Specialist should have a strong knowledge of agriculture and pests and diseases, or should be willing to learn. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: \xe2\x97\x8f Monitor the Doordarshak pilot program on the field, identifying pests and diseases. \xe2\x97\x8f Provide training to farmers on how to use the Doordarshak system and how to identify and control pests and diseases. \xe2\x97\x8f Conduct regular visits to farms to monitor the progress of the pilot program and to provide support to farmers. \xe2\x97\x8f Maintain records of the pilot program, including data on pests and diseases, crop yields, and farmer satisfaction. \xe2\x97\x8f Work with other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving the effectiveness of the Doordarshak system. Qualifications: \xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s degree ( B.Sc / M.Sc ) in agriculture or a related field. \xe2\x97\x8f 1+ years of experience in agriculture or pest management. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong knowledge of pests and diseases. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \xe2\x97\x8f Willingness to travel. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong research skills and ability to understand the causes of diseases. \xe2\x97\x8f Interest in research and development. Working Conditions: \xe2\x97\x8f The Agriculture Specialist will work in a field setting, and will be exposed to the elements. \xe2\x97\x8f The work hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday half day and Sunday full working day.
