The project aims at enabling adoption of Water Efficient, Resource conserving agriculture by farmers in Rural hathras block. The role requires a technical understanding of sustainable agriculture, natural and organic agriculture, rural economy and working with farmers, government and other stakeholders. The task would be to enable a shift towards adoption of water efficient, climate smart agriculture by informing, motivating and supporting farmers. Also working with other team members to create linkages with support ecosystem providing natural inputs especially with women and youth and leveraging government support by aligning with existing policies and schemes. Also, working with other team members for watershed management for augmentation of local water availability.
