Agri Quality Controller

will be responsible for maintaining high standards throughout the production and packaging processes while ensuring all products meet both regulatory and customer expectations. We are the largest retail chain in the United States of America. Specializing in traditional Indian flowers and devotional items for festivals, occasions, and events. In addition, we are the leading exporter of traditional Indian flowers, bringing the beauty and authenticity of India's floral heritage to communities around the world. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting, grading, and monitoring the packaging and handling of flowers to meet export standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities are:

Grade the products according to export specifications and customer quality parameters.

Identify and procure good quality traditional flowers from the farmers.

Inspect incoming various types of flowers (e.g., roses, marigold, jasmine, tuberose, lotus) for size, color, maturity, damage, and pest-free condition.

Monitor proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity) to maintain flower freshness.

Clearly monitor and develop the Production process.

Ensure correct packaging methods to prevent damage during transportation.

Generate reports on quality trends, rejections, and corrective actions taken.

Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to resolve quality issues.

Liaise with agronomists, harvesters, pack house staff, and logistics teams to enforce quality protocols and resolve quality-related issues promptly.

Verify labelling and packaging compliance with international export norms and religious sensitivities.

Maintain Quality standards and procedures throughout the process.

Experience working with floral products or traditional pooja items is a plus.

Attention to detail, strong observational skills, and good communication abilities.

Generate daily, weekly, and shipment-specific reports on quality performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Floriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in quality control within a flower export or agribusiness environment.

Capable of working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments during peak seasons.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferably wanted the skilled person regarding traditional pooja products, Devotional items and its trendy movement.

Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in flower product exports.
