Designation - Agri Business SpecialistOrganization - SwitchON Foundation (Agriculture Vertical)Location - Kolkata, West BengalEducational Qualification (desired) - Master's degree in Agriculture, Business Management, Farm Management, Agricultural Economics, or any other closely related fieldSkill Set- Good Communication Experienced in Employee Management Technical and business knowledge in agri business operations Experience in dealing with Suppliers, Traders and Exporters Business (Accounting & Bookkeeping Skills)Responsibilities Manage the whole agriculture business, from production, to packaging, to sales Should have good contact with vendors that will sell them quality products at good prices Analyze the market (includes seed, chemical, agri machinery, advisory etc.) ensuring a competitive intelligence, follow up legal compliance of regulation. Convince, propose and implement the strategy of our organization. Assist in Timely survey for addition /exploration of new business opportunity as per core strength of team & organization - work on future scope, business expansion, timely report preparation and submission. Participate during seasonal budget preparation and keep check on unwanted budget activities and strictly work and manage cost efficiency without compromising quality standards. Understanding requirements and getting potential business lead , Identify challenges in existing operations and work to rectify & adhere to solutions ,wherever require discuss with up-line , after that strictly work on implementation. Look after all the accounts of the business and make sure that they are making profits Do project study and support to management for development of new business model related to agriculture Prepare report of the businessExperience - min 5 year of relevant experiencePreferred Industry - Agriculture/ Food / NGOLanguage Proficiency - Bengali, English, HindiSalary Range - Rs.30000- Rs.45000 per month (Agri Business Specialist)(Compensation package will be in line with qualification, experience and last salary drawn)Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Up to ?45,000.00 per monthBenefits:
