Job Description

Managing a dynamic team of R&D, applications, analytical comprising of chemist, biotechnologist, microbiologist, textile chemist, paper technologist, etc.
b. Experience in handling a team of 10-15 including Sr. scientist, Scientist, Executives, Trainees, etc.
c. Preparing innovative projects and planning for project activities- Daily/weekly/monthly/yearly
d. Driving R&D team on new developments- Biobased formulation for textile auxiliaries, paper auxiliaries, cleaning products for home care & institutional applications, Cosmetics & personal care products, water treatment products, etc.
e. Guiding R&D team on-
i. New product development research
ii. Optimization studies
iii. Application trials in the respective application lab
iv. Data compilation & report writing
v. Innovation methodologies
vi. Literature survey techniques
f. Developing customized SOPs and procedures for lab operations.
g. Collaborating with marketing team to run troubleshooting experiments for market products and existing applications.
h. Thorough analytical knowledge including lab testing equipment and analytical instruments.
i. Thorough subject knowledge including chemistry, surfactant chemistry, & biotechnology.
j. Maintaining lab documentation including daily experimental data, project reports, technology write ups, product spec sheets, etc.
l. Aware about regulatory norms & government related procedures including DSIR, DST, PCB, etc.
