Job Purpose

The position handles Circle Capex Warehousing and Logistics Operations (new sites, Site to Site and SRN movement) Responsible for efficient Materials management for network equipment and arranging outbound logistics as per network requirement to support network expansion Maintain required minimum inventory level in warehouse Daily monitoring of Inventories Report and follow up for non-moving inventory Responsible for management of the WH, SRN (including Repair/Return) Now with fast changing technology (2G,3G,4G, 5G) there is lot of action on network swap and efficient site return management

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

This position is an active enabler to support Huge network roll out and help telecom network modernization as per business plan

Capex warehouse and Logistics -

Maintain required Inventory at minimum level Monitor Orders (MRN TAT) are timely dispatched Ensuring Material receipt, stacking, dispatches and Housekeeping as per WH process and guidelines Monitor the TAT for receipts and goods issues Transportation Management - route planning to optimize the logistic cost in cluster Close co-ordination with Third Party Logistics and their KPI Monitoring Monitoring of working conditions for Material Handling Equipment's, Racks, Surveillance System (CCTV +Fire Alarm) working properly TPL training on WH management, material handling, ITCMS, HSW, etc. Proper housekeeping / hygiene to be maintained in WH Periodic audit as per process (Internal, external CA audit) Proper Inventory Reconciliation with system Space Management - creating space through timely liquidation of scrap material Keep monitoring Third Party Logistics SLA Close Monitoring of Non-moving Inventory and reporting to WH Manager and CCH MIS & reporting to WH VH on availability / shortages of material in cluster Keep inform WH VH on timely replenishment of required Inventory Ensure accuracy in material handling and logistics movement Follow up with Networks for timely deployment of material Ensure warehouse Safety and Security compliances at Work

Challenges

Heavy Swapping activity, Huge SRN Transactions volume High attrition in Third Party Logistics people Training to changed Manpower about systems & process Late night Material required request (MRN) by user function Dealing with Transporters and low skill staff To maintain 10 days warehouse residency in cluster

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

High level of Integrity, ethics and other value systems Strong Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain management (Warehousing & Logistics) Ability to manage multiple senior stake holders/Vertical Heads Excellent coordination skills and ability to deal with transporters, unions & uneducated labourers Ability to work long hours and in extreme weather conditions (in warehouse) and emergency situations Good communication, presentation, excel skills, MIS, and experience on ERP

Technical / professional qualifications

Graduate / Post Graduate Background in Warehousing and Logistics operations
