Profile - Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Production

Qualification - B.Tech / M.Tech - Mechanical, Chemical, or Production

Experience -Min. 15+ years of experience in production, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Plastic Recycling / Manufacturing Industry. In-depth knowledge of plastic recycling processes (e.g., shredding, washing, extrusion, pelletizing) is highly desirable

Salary- Upto 18 LPA

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented

AGM - Production

to lead and manage our production operations. The ideal candidate must have 15+ years of hands-on experience in the plastic recycling industry or a related manufacturing sector. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring high-quality output, optimizing productivity, managing teams, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and control production to ensure efficient and timely output

Oversee daily plant operations, production planning, resource allocation, and shift management

Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards, especially related to plastic recycling

Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives

Monitor KPIs such as OEE, downtime, yield, production efficiency, etc.

Coordinate with Maintenance, QA/QC, Logistics, and Procurement teams for smooth operations

Implement and monitor 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other operational excellence tools

Train and mentor the production team to improve performance and ensure high morale

Handle statutory compliance, safety audits, and documentation as per regulatory requirements

Work closely with senior management to align production goals with overall business strategy

SKILLS

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and manpower management

Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Office, and production tracking tools

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills

Good understanding of sustainability practices, EHS standards, and regulatory compliance
