Job Description

The successful candidate would need to be resourceful, be able to act independently and have the ability to :

Plan production in any of the five verticals taking into account order delivery dates, capacities, manpower, materials availability, outsourcing specific work to fabricators, and quality.

The technical skills to handle production techniques and challenges in both home & garments.

Handle small quantities of items as well as volume - the former resulting from specialised buyer demands, seasonal ups and downs and which might require shorter lead times.

Closely liaise with the merchandising teams in any of the five verticals to understand buyer requirements, quality standards and delivery dates

Closely liaise with the fabrics and accessories manager to ensure long term planning of fabric supply so that this does not become a bottle neck.

To be able to manage a team of supervisors in each area - stitching, finishing, embroidery, hand work - to ensure they fulfil targets set and that they manage and motivate the workforce under them

To be able to do costings and thus negotiate with and manage external fabricators as necessary

To be able to work on the Company's ERP system to monitor out put and see that data is accurately and systematically entered

To ensure that production reports in the departmental dashboard are systematically updated and checked for accuracy.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
