Job Purpose

The role will be responsible for managing effective operations of Packet Core network with strong governance, monitoring of the defined KPI/SLAs and to fulfill the key demands as per the business requirements.

To Collaborate with SNOC, MS-Partners, OEM's, Circle & various inter-functional teams, with the objective to ensure timely & systematic execution of tasks & resolution of escalated issues.

Network elements involved (As per deployment)

GGSN, vGW, PCRF, DNS, CGNAT, SGSN, MME, Eric MPBN nodes, Firewalls, Switches & Routers, , Wi-Fi Core nodes (eWAG, AAA, Firewall, DHCP)

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Operations management of Data (Packet Core) services & Charging Nodes(CGF/CGNAT)
• To supervise all major activities on live network with complete understanding & ownership
• Support business for implementation of new data products - increase in revenue, Support to CS/IT/Marketing and product teams for Customer issues and product implementation and Security team for all Security and regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous improvement and process change suggestion to management, take charge of upgrades/HW replacements suggested by vendor for Data Network in close co-ordination with cross functional teams.
• Act as Central Point of contact for all Incident / Support related issues. Ensure timely resolution of issue raised by RA, Legal & Mediation team related to Paco CDR/IPDRs

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• Should have prior experience of working in Packet Core Operations domain and managing various portfolios. Experience on cloud infrastructure and related technologies will be added advantage.
• Experience on implementing mass projects.
• Good Knowledge of Packet Core, Wi-Fi operations and design, Charging Operations and call flow. Extensive knowledge of telecom and IP domain.
• Having sound knowledge of Enterprise domain to manage Enterprise related activities.
• Should have strong experience on working with strategic partners and managing MS teams.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• BE/B. Tech in Electronics & Communication
• CCNA/CCNP & Cloud related certification would be added advantage
• Good stakeholder-management skills
• Effective communication and inter-personal skills
• Proactive in approach with positive attitude
