The suitable candidate should have adequate experience in media strategy and strategic media relations, and a strong understanding of how to leverage the ability and effect of media from the business standpoint.
Responsibilities:
Designing and driving media strategy at the national level to build, sustain and enhance IntelliSmart\xe2\x80\x99s brand image, organizational and business capability perception, and corporate reputation.
Building a large media network and media champions in the relevant regions of operational importance and sustainably engaging them to create awareness, influencing news and narratives, harnessing information to comprehend smart meter-specific news, pre-empting critical developments.
Proven ability to guide, manage and review media management agencies and stringer networks.
Collaborate with the lateral team, regional SPOCs and agency network to build a strong media-centric reputation management strategy.
Create, nurture and sustain relationship with national power sector journalists and editors
Create, nurture and sustain relationship with relevant regional journalists and editors of relevant publications
Liaise with media and monitor news/coverage, especially in the regions, to have a pulse of the smart meter project-related developments
Design larger and in certain cases, wherever necessary, specific media strategy to support seamlessness of project operations, and protect and enhance company\xe2\x80\x99s reputation in the regions
Pre-empt and proactively manage crisis situations to protect project and brand reputation
Proactively design and execute media campaigns to support smart metering consumer awareness campaign
Manage Discom expectations pertaining to smart metering consumer awareness requirements and work with Discoms to execute activities
Singularly manage internal organisation dynamics for timely closure of media requirements
Own and account for all media-related activities undertaken by the organisation including media events and press conferences
Maintaining weekly execution reports, monthly media measurement reports and quarterly strategy trackers
