Role Lead-Nokia SON Job Level/ Designation AGM Function / Department Technology-Quality & User experience/Analytics & SON Location Pune Job Purpose SON deployment as per VIL roadmap & strategy. RAN optimization by leveraging SON capabilities. Automation of Network Planning and Optimization Key Result Areas/Accountabilities SON planning and deployment basis VIL strategy - New modules/feature/version upgrades. Dimensioning of SON License capacity, hardware and bandwidth. Improve module efficiency by tuning SON parameter settings to achieve best in class customer experience. Cell profile creation based on differential approach on clutter, traffic, cell footprint etc. Create processes to streamline SON operations and ensure compliance by all stake holders. Drive vendors, closely work with other functions and circle team to handle operational issues and achieve performance improvement. SON system administration -User, Platform & Application management SON action analysis in correlation with radio KPIs, identify scope for improvement and provide recommendations to circles. Reduce SON rejections to increase quality actions and thereby improving SON efficiency. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience 12 years\' experience in Telecom 8 years\' experience in RAN planning and Optimization 3+ years\' experience in SON Strong technical knowledge of 2G/3G/LTE/Volte/NR technologies in RAN domain. SME in SON domain - platform and application. Cross functional coordination and vendor management skills to address operational challenges. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze the network performance data.
