The AGM - Heat Treatment will be responsible for leading, managing, and enhancing the heat treatment function with a focus on productivity, process improvement, and cost optimization. The role will ensure zero customer complaints, strengthen metallurgical quality standards, develop alternate heat-treatment resources, and drive skill development across the department. The position also plays a key role in supplier management, new part development, and customer approval processes while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all heat treatment operations to achieve productivity, quality, and cost goals.
Ensure metallurgical quality standards and zero customer complaints.
Implement process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Develop and monitor alternate heat-treatment suppliers.
Drive new part development and ensure customer approvals.
Conduct skill development programs for the heat treatment team.
Maintain compliance, documentation, and audit readiness.
Collaborate with QA, Production, NPD, and Maintenance teams.
Support adoption of new technologies and best practices in heat treatment.
Monitor equipment health and coordinate preventive maintenance.
