This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key government stakeholders, understanding their fire safety needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the government sector.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and government regulations related to fire safety.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government agencies, officials, and decision-makers.
  • Solution Selling: Understand government clients' fire safety needs and provide appropriate solutions, including fire alarms, suppression systems, and safety training programs.
  • Proposal Management: Prepare and present detailed proposals and bids for government contracts, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure the delivery of high-quality fire safety solutions.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on sales activities, progress, and results. Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with government regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in government sales or a related field. Experience in fire safety or a related industry is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in fire safety or sales management are a plus.
